In some cases, the style, architecture and period of an existing residence has an influence over the design of the garden that cannot be ignored.
In some cases, the style, architecture and period of an existing residence has an influence over the design of the garden that cannot be ignored. Our Malvern project is one such example, where a beautiful period home commanded a traditional approach to the design of the swimming pool and expansive gardens, so that the property was unified in style and atmosphere.
This garden epitomises traditional elegance on a grand scale, with formal details such as sculptures, urns and parterre garden beds complementing the period design of the residence perfectly. The material palette used in and around the swimming pool unifies the landscape to the house – bluestone coping with a bullnose profile matches the steps leading up to the house, and a Royal Blue ceramic pool tile contrasts against the red brick walls of the main house, garage and pool house.
An internal spa positioned in the shallow end of the swimming pool is the perfect addition to make the swimming pool flexible for use all year round. With a fully tiled spillway, the heated water from the spa spills over into the pool and is recirculated.
